How we choose what we sell.

We don't carry the cat aisle staples. Here's how we pick what does make it onto the shop.

One question

Every product passes the same test: would we keep this in our own home? If the answer is no, it doesn't make the shop. We test what we can with our own cats and the people around us. Then it goes online.

What we look for

• Materials that age well — natural fibres, untreated wood, recycled aluminium, food-grade ceramics
• Designs that don't shout — quiet shapes that fit a living room, not a daycare
• Function over gimmick — does the cat actually use it, or is it just photogenic?
• Repairable or replaceable parts where possible

What we don't do

• Single-use plastic in packaging
• Fluorescent dyes or cartoon prints
• Products with materials we wouldn't want our cat near

Honest about scale

We're a small team based in Brugge. We don't have a thousand SKUs. We have a careful collection that we know well — and we'd rather say no to a product than carry something we don't believe in.
